Get out and try Rock Climbing! Whether you just want to try it for the experience or are looking to take up the sport a day out on the rock will give you a taster of the excitement and enjoyment involved.
Take your friends or family along to share in the experience. Alternatively head out on a ratio of 1:1 to get even more climbing under your belt.
The course is a half day alternative to the normal Try Rock Climbing. It caters for up to 4 people and is priced for the half day.
Experiencing Scotland and indeed the UK’s finest climbs and ridges could not be easier with our Guided classic climbs and Ridges days out. Leave the technical aspects to use as we take you on an exciting journey up climbs like Tower Ridge on Den Nevis, Agags Groove in Glen Coe, Fingers Ridge in the Cairngorms or along ridges such as the Anoach Eagach or An Teallach.
Munro baggers and hillwalkers looking to access some of the more challenging mountains of Scotland can do so under your guidance without having to learn lots of new rope techniques.
Rock climbers that may not have the existing skill set or confidence to take up the challenge of a big mountain climb or scramble can tock off a route that they have had their eye on.
Getting past the initial learning of climbing outdoors and becoming self sufficient follows an Introductory course. If you wish to progress your climbing experience into Lead Climbing and at some point Multi-pitch climbing an Improvers Course is ideal as a natural progression.
The Improvers Rock Climbing course builds on the existing skills of climbing outdoors in a bottom and top rope situation to introduce Lead climbing and more complex anchor setups.
Lead climbing is a lot more of a serious affair than bottom or top rope climbing with regards to risk. We embrace this and ensure that our teaching methods and each client’s safety are paramount and of the highest quality.
The Introduction to Rock Climbing course is ideal for those either starting out with Climbing or those that have climbed indoors already and are looking to gain experience on real rock.
Courses vary in length as we find that setting a fixed timetable can put a lot of people off. Instead we offer flexibility on the number of days or evenings in this course. This takes into account those with busy lives requiring the course to fit around work etc.
We aim to deliver this course at a variety of venues to maximise the experience gained by students rather than sticking to one crag.
This two day course caters for two people and is priced for two days.
